Bibliography 1926-1938

John Anderson’s first decade at Sydney University was characterised by two features: his adherence to Communism and then Trotskyism, and his extensive philosophical writings. The material cited below reflects these two features. There are a large number of writings for the Communist publications, The Workers Weekly and The Communist, and for the Trotskyist publication, The Militant. Similarly there are a large number of writings for the A.J.P.P.. Apart from these writings, there are a large number of addresses for a number of student societies, particularly the Freethought Society and the Literary Society. These were typically reported in Honi Soit and the Union Recorder.
