The position of the John Anderson Senior Research Fellow at Sydney University was created in 1999 in accordance with terms of the Will of John Anderson’s son, Alexander, who died in 1996. In 1998, the Anderson estate bequeathed to Sydney University was valued at more than $1 million (Aus.) The position of the Anderson Fellow was active from 1999 to 2009, but has been vacant since that time. The terms and conditions of the Anderson bequest have not yet been fulfilled
